Ventilation and air conditioning installation

Stages of installation and wiring of air conditioners

  • Marking the route with a slight slope to allow condensation to drain.
  • Laying grooves using a hammer drill, grinder, or wall chaser.
  • Drilling a hole with a diameter of up to 50 mm in a load-bearing wall.
  • Assembly of the freon pipeline in the insulation, cable, and drainage hose.

Mechanical plastering, on a grid with subsequent glazing. We usually use Knauf MP 75 or Volma Active.

Restaurant fit out of porcelain tiles or other finishing materials

Installation of porcelain tiles on floors and walls, installation of large-format porcelain tiles, and wall cladding.

Painting works

Painting works involve sealing joints in plasterboard (Knauf-Uniflot), installing Taftape tape on corners (external and internal), installing fiberglass on putty (base application for subsequent layers), applying finishing layers of putty, mechanized sanding of the surface with giraffes, priming walls (Terraco Terrabond), preparing the surface for painting, high-quality painting of walls.

Installation of floating joints, and formation of aesthetic joints to windows, doors, and ceilings.

Restaurant fit-out defect detection and priming

Restaurant fit-out defect detection and priming involves a thorough inspection of the completed fit-out to identify any defects or imperfections. This includes checking for issues such as uneven surfaces, damaged materials, faulty installations, and non-compliance with building codes and regulations. Once defects are identified, they are documented and prioritized for rectification. Priming involves preparing the surfaces for final finishes like painting or wallpapering. This may include cleaning, sanding, and applying a primer coat to ensure proper adhesion and a smooth, even finish.

Restaurant tiles fit out

Restaurant tile fit-out involves selecting and installing tiles in various areas of the restaurant, such as the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms. Factors to consider include durability, slip resistance, and aesthetic appeal. Ceramic and porcelain tiles are popular choices due to their durability and ease of cleaning. Mosaic tiles can add a decorative touch to backsplashes and feature walls. Proper installation is crucial to ensure a long-lasting and visually appealing finish. Tile grout should be sealed to prevent water damage and mold growth. Regular maintenance, including cleaning and resealing the grout, will help maintain the tiles’ appearance and functionality.

Restaurant decorating

Decoration may include plaster (acrylic, mineral, silicate, silicone), or micro-cement, silk, and fabric on the walls, paintings, photographs, flower pots, decor with slats, stencil painting, room outlining, unusual mirrors, and stickers.

Painting of restaurant walls

Commercial organizations, which include cafes and restaurants, simply need their corporate style. This is dictated by the laws of business, otherwise it is difficult to achieve success and competitive advantage. Artistic painting of cafes and restaurants allows you to create your attractive unique style in the interior of the premises, as a result of which loyalty and, as a consequence, visitor traffic increases.

There is a rule – the painting must correspond to the level of the establishment. If you have not yet decided on the theme of the painting, then the professional artists of Wallpaper Kenya will select a concept, always helping you understand the styles and directions of painting, while taking into account all the features of the interior. The result is a work of art of due quality. We also offer various options for premium interior design with imitation of valuable wood, stone (marble, onyx, etc.), and bricks, with significant budget savings.

Parquet board, laminate, quartz vinyl, block parquet, linoleum, carpet, floor tile installation.

Wallpaper fit out

Choosing wallpaper for restaurants, cafes, and bars is a very responsible matter. Because wallpaper plays an important role in the overall design of the establishment, reflecting one or another ideological direction of the style. And it is no secret that customers are attracted not only by delicious food but also by the right atmosphere, giving a special mood.

Photo wallpaper and lighting

For the image not to seem superfluous in your room, it should be sufficiently illuminated. That is why we recommend you place photo wallpapers near windows or artificial light sources.

Do not forget that any drawing should harmoniously fit into the style of your restaurant. If for such styles as modern, minimalist, or classic, almost all animal themes are suitable, then styles with more specific characteristics require careful selection of a suitable drawing. For example, for a restaurant designed in the Provence or country style, you can choose photo wallpapers depicting horses, dogs, cats, and other animals that man has been able to tame.

Ceiling fit out

  • Stretch (PVC, fabric, glossy, matte, satin, translucent, with image printing, with backlighting, two-level, and with cassettes),
  • Wooden ceiling (panels, planks, slatted, beams, clapboard, tongue and groove wooden panels),
  • Decorative (includes a variety of unusual decorative elements such as cassettes, rosettes, and crown moldings),
  • Metallic (these are panels made of aluminum, steel, or copper, which can be smooth or textured),
  • With decorative plastic tiles (glossy, matte, textured, 3D tiles with volumetric patterns, hexagonal, mirrored),
  • Art ceiling (frescoes and murals, galactic, abstract, artistic mosaics, with elements of nature),
  • Acoustic (a special ceiling that has soundproofing properties),
  • Eco-friendly (natural, environmentally friendly materials are used, such a ceiling is designed to minimize the impact on the environment and provide a healthy indoor climate),
  • With sky effect,
  • Multi-level (This is a structure consisting of several levels or layers, which creates voluminous and interesting compositions. It allows you to add depth and dynamics to the interior, and can also serve to accommodate additional lighting, ventilation, or sound insulation.)
  • With mirror effect

Installation of finishing and clean fittings

Electrics

sockets and switches, lamps and chandeliers, backlights, air conditioner units, frames, thermostats (control units for heated floors, built-in convectors, and other heating devices), light bulbs, sensors, hoods, stoves, and other units.

Plumbing

taps, mixers, washbasins, suspended and floor-standing toilets, bidets, bathtubs, shower cabins, water heaters, siphons, leak protection devices (Neptunes), heated towel rails, washing machines and dishwashers, refrigerators with ice generators, etc.

Finishing plumbing work is noiseless compared to rough work. There is no dust or dirt. But it is also complicated and requires professional knowledge and practical experience.

Fit-out quality control

Restaurant fit-out quality control involves regular inspections throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to design plans and building standards.

This includes verifying materials, workmanship, electrical and plumbing installations, and adherence to safety regulations. Regular site visits, checklists, and documentation are crucial for maintaining quality control.

Cleaning

Cleaning before a fit-out handover involves a thorough process to ensure a pristine space. Starts with a deep clean of all surfaces, including walls, ceilings, floors, and fixtures. And make sure you remove dust and debris using appropriate cleaning methods, such as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.

For example, to clean windows, choose a cleaning solution: You can use a mixture of equal parts water and distilled white vinegar, or dish soap and water. You can also add ¼ cup of baking soda per gallon of solution for very dirty surfaces.

If you’re cleaning windows that have a protective coating, use dish soap instead of vinegarLight fixtures and electrical outlets are dusted, and sanitary facilities are sanitized. Finally, conduct a final inspection to verify cleanliness and identify any areas needing further attention.

Complete the restaurant fit-out with furniture and equipment

Calculate the number of seats

This will determine the maximum load of kitchen equipment and the capacity of cabinets. The choice of furniture for the hall also depends on this.

Assign a specific area to the kitchen

It directly affects the configuration of kitchen equipment. For example, in small rooms you simply won’t be able to technically install everything you need, you’ll have to sacrifice something or choose smaller refrigerators, ovens, etc.

Create a menu and decide on the number of items

For some dishes, you will need to install special equipment: barbecues, grills, dough mixers, dispensers, etc.

Modern restaurant systems are multifunctional and combine, for example, a grill, cooking, and cutting surfaces. This significantly saves space.

However, restaurateurs who are not willing to pay for the latest and most modern equipment will have to sacrifice some of their equipment.

Hand over

Conducting a successful restaurant fit-out project handover involves several key steps. Start by scheduling a comprehensive walkthrough with all relevant stakeholders, including the client, project manager, contractors, and sub-contractors. During this walkthrough, thoroughly inspect the premises, verifying that all work is completed according to the approved plans and specifications. Pay close attention to finishes, fixtures, equipment installations, and overall cleanliness. Any discrepancies or defects should be documented and addressed promptly.

Once the walkthrough is complete, compile a detailed handover document that includes a punch list of items to be completed, a schedule for finalizing outstanding tasks, and a plan for addressing any identified defects. This document should be signed and agreed upon by all parties involved.

Next, conduct a final inspection to ensure that all punch list items have been addressed and the space is ready for operation. If any issues arise during this final inspection, work with the relevant parties to resolve them promptly.

Finally, transfer all necessary documentation, including permits, licenses, warranties, and maintenance manuals, to the client. Provide any required training to staff on the operation and maintenance of equipment and systems.

You have set the stage for a successful business launch.
