Dental clinic interior

Of what importance is dental clinic interior design?

We are sure that few readers like going to the dentist. Therefore, designers use some tricks to distract attention. Designers try to make the dental clinic cozy so that a person does not feel afraid. Look at some examples. But that is not all.

When the task for this new space becomes the interior of a dental office, it becomes complicated. We first imagine how the room will look visually. But in addition to beauty, we also add sterility and official requirements of the Ministry of Health.

While you are thinking about whether to start learning all the intricacies right now or not, we already have a ready-made solution for your office or the entire clinic.

First, you determine how many offices and chairs the space will be created for. This is the information we will use as a starting point for all further work.

Then we will decide on the style you would like to see in your clinic. Usually in modern dental clinics this style is minimalism. It helps not to be distracted by unnecessary details and at the same time allows you to feel more comfortable. In this style it is much easier to maintain order and disinfect surfaces. Because there are no unnecessary recesses and decorative elements.

However, do not forget that if we are talking about a clinic, then in addition to the rooms for receiving patients, there are other rooms.

Selecting a color scheme for dental offices

When deciding on a color scheme, you need to understand what type of clinic you are choosing it for: family, children’s or adult.

If we are talking about a family or children’s dental clinic, then it is better to choose a brighter color scheme for such a place. Good options for distracting attention from the hospital theme will be catchy accents. For example, these can be images of cartoon characters. They will not only distract, but also amuse little patients. In this style, you can decorate an entire clinic or a separate play area. Here you can also add drawing accessories and children’s toys. Having visited such a place, the kids will happily want to visit it again.

For a dental clinic where only adults will be patients, we recommend choosing a more restrained and calm color palette. White is used as the main color, and gentle pastel tones are preferred as accents. They will create a feeling of purity and lightness, and will also slightly reduce the degree of tension in worried patients.

The reception area in the clinic is one of the most important places, because it is where the first impression is created. Immediately after talking with the administrator, the new patient will already have an impression and a certain mood. That is why this work area needs to be thought out no less than the interior of the dental office itself.

The ideal solution would be to place the reception desk opposite the entrance so that the person immediately understands who he can contact. Near the desk itself, the patient should be able to conveniently fill out the necessary papers and forms, but at the same time, he should not see what is in the workplace of your employees.

In the waiting area, we recommend placing a coffee machine, a TV or speakers that will create background noise, magazines on topics unrelated to dental procedures, a cooler and comfortable furniture.
